Hello there, There has been a problem with my macbook pro mid-2012 recently. I am on OSX 10.9.5, and I have recently updated my mac which forced me to restart my computer, but hasn't updated to Yosemite, I'm guessing because there are still some bugs as it came out a couple of days ago. After the update, I turned on the mac only to find that, at first I had no sound output (I checked if it was on mute, plugged headphones in etc.) So I had to restart my mac again, and this time the mac works. However, I am now connected to wifi and the only application that can access the internet is google chrome. I tried everything from other browsers like Safari, to steam and minecraft, nothing seems to be working! I can still however, use skype and can see the amount of friends online on my steam. Can someone please help? Thanks so much! Google Chrome is the most popular in the world. However, the browser has its own share of problems. From some point of time Dictionary stopped working in Chrome. When I tap with three fingers on a word, it shows the following window: In all other applications Dictionary works well. The ultimate fix is to uninstall Chrome completely and install it back. Since Chrome is a free software, there won’t be a problem in removing and install it back. But, there are still challenges with re-installing. When Chrome is uninstalled, it might retain atleast some of the settings which might be corrupted. When Chrome is installed back, these settings are installed back. A solution was needed to make sure Chrome is reset properly. A tool was created for the purpose. How to make Google Chrome make new again • Download from the link. • Run the tool • The tool will automatically look for any malicious programs and clean it • Click Continue once it’s done • You will be taken to Chrome settings page (chrome://settings). Click reset to default settings or you may leave it the way it is if you don’t think extensions, change in settings or cache is responsible for the problem. Now open Google Chrome and check if the problem is fixed. The Google Chrome Cleanup Tool is self-destructive. Mac snes rom. If you want to run it again, you need to again and run it.
